About the event
Join us for an evening of Phulkari at Gill Organics Farm in Punjab.
The Phulkari Retreat is a hands-on craft experience where you’ll learn about the tradition of Phulkari and spend time creating your own piece using traditional stitches and techniques.
We’ll begin with a refreshing drink before getting into the Phulkari workshop. There’ll be a tea break in between, followed by more time to work on your piece. We’ll then step away from the embroidery and take a walk around the farm as the evening light sets in.
It’s a small, relaxed experience designed to bring you closer to Phulkari, the landscape of Punjab, and the joy of making something by hand.
